| Brent Baker (Editor) was the sports editor for the Sunrise Printing and Publishing, Inc. chain of newspapers from December, 2000 until early January, 2005. His sports sections were named the top such sections for weekly newspapers in their circulation class in the state of Michigan by the Michigan Press Association in 2001, 2002 and 2004, with a third-place award in 2003. Brent also won numerous individual awards for his sports photography, columns and coverage of high school sporting events. His sports photography interest dates back to his high school days in the early 1980s, and continued off an on until he founded Buckland Media in 1997 while working with Whittemore Speedway on its 50th anniversary commemorative video. Brent did sports photography work for several local schools beginning in 1998. His Buckland Media activities faded into the background of his newspaper work, with the exception of selling game photos from the bucklandmedia.com website. The website was relaunched Jan. 12, 2005 primarily to provide comprehensive coverage of varsity high school sports in Northeast Michigan.

Linda Eyer (Photographer) worked as the Library Media Specialist at Whittemore-Prescott High School for more than 20 years. During that time she expanded her photography hobby into a second career by providing photos of student events and sports to the yearbook. The sports coverage then extended to the local newspapers and the bucklandmedia.com website. Her interest in nature added an additional facet to her photography business. Bay Imaging and Technology Services (Web Site Design) - Bay Imaging and Technology Services LLC, (BITS) is owned and operated by Barb Casper, a graphic designer and self-taught web designer. Barb's employment history includes seven years of employment with Sunrise Printing and Publishing, Inc. While with Sunrise, Barb was responsible for commercial print design and the design and layout of one of the company's weekly newspapers. She also worked as a graphic designer for Sunrise Print Communications, a commercial print shop in West Branch for 2-1/2 years. Barb is familiar with all aspects of offset printing and has had five years experience with web design work as well. Barb is doing freelance web, print and multimedia design work.
