PINCONNING - Feb. 3, 2010 - Pinconning picked up two victories and Oscoda earned a split Wednesday in a final non-conference wrestling quad Wednesday at Pinny.

The Spartans defeated the Owls 42-34 and Grayling 50-30, while Oscoda topped Midland Dow 45-27.

Winning twice for Pinconning (14-21) were Joshua Estrada (103 pounds), Clayton Szilagyi (119), Taylor Pomaville (125), Charlie Burch (140), Tyler Espitia (145), Brian Hardy (152) and Colton Lucynski (160).

Oscoda's (23-10) double winners were Jake Rayes, Kieran Clarke, Curtis Davies, Donavan Fouchey and Jacob Wood, while Dillon Hohl, Steven Rhonehouse, Andrew Franks and Michael Perkins also won matches.

Pinconning travels to John Glenn on Saturday for the North East Michigan Conference finals meet, while Oscoda is off until next Wednesday's team district matchup at Roscommon against the Bucks.
