WHITTEMORE-PRESCOTT - Feb. 25, 2010 - Pinconning finished its regular season with two straight wins and avoided a last-place NEMC finish with a 55-30 victory at Whittemore-Prescott on Tuesday.

The Spartans led 26-20 at halftime but outscored the Cards 29-10 in the second half.

Jessica Vidalez continued her late-season scoring surge with 21 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead all scorers. Lauren Look added 14 points. Pinny (5-15, 2-8 NEMC) hosts Essexville Garber on Monday, Mar. 1, to open district tournament play.

Cortney Bork led W-P (5-15, 1-9) with 10 points. The Cardinals open district play Wednesday at Alcona.
