ROSCOMMON - Feb. 2, 2010 - Ogemaw Heights built a big early lead and maintained it through the second half to win at Roscommon on Tuesday, 66-43.

The Falcons blew out to a 39-21 lead at the break. Ashley Thompson opened the game with 11 points in the first quarter and Teya Immel had eight of her 12 points in the second quarter as Ogemaw took control.

Rosco tried to fight back in the third quarter, primarily behind the efforts of Olivia Meadows, but could only break even 19-19.

Thompson finished with a game-high 31 points, 29 in the first three quarters, and hit 9-of-10 free throws. Sara Meier tossed in 11 points for the Falcons (10-3).

Meadows' 10-of-10 performance at the line accounted for most of her 15 points. Kayla Hausler added 11 for the Bucks.
