BAY CITY ALL SAINTS - Mar. 10, 2010 - Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary dominated the second half against Arenac Eastern on Wednesday, rolling to a 62-28 district semifinal victory over the Eagles.
AE stayed with the Cardinals through the first half, trailing 27-18 at the break.
But AE managed just a single free throw by Kyle Zobel in the third quarter as Seminary went on a 33-1 run that lasted until late in the fourth quarter. Morgan finally scored the Eagles' first basket of the second half with under four minutes to play.
Todd Brassow led Seminary (11-10) with 15 points, with Jeremy Schultz and Micah Plocher adding nine apiece. MLS played Bay City All Saints on Friday for the district title.
