INLAND LAKES - Mar. 10, 2010 - Oscoda nearly pulled off an upset in district tournament play Wednesday at Inland Lakes, leading through most of the contest before falling 55-49.

The Owls took a 20-14 lead after one quarter and 29-26 edge at halftime but couldn't hold on down the stretch as Garrett Gahn scored the go-ahead bucket late in the fourth quarter and hit five free throws down the stretch.

Gahn finished with 27 points to lead the Bulldogs (8-13), who play at Rogers City on Friday for the district title.

Kyle McCausey scored 15 points and Brandon McCausey added 14 for the Owls (3-18).
