SSC's Karina Pierce (8) heads the ball upfield at Ogemaw Heights during Monday's contest.

SSC Scoring: Karina Pierce 3 G; Paige Raes 1 G; Shelby Gainforth 1 G, 1 A; Ashley Wakulat 2 A; Danielle Milan 1 A.

SSC Goalkeeping: Kelsey Prohaska 9 Svs.

Ogemaw Goalkeeping: Kaitlin McClain 7 Svs.

SSC coach John Rudberg: "Girls played pretty good. We had a couple of defensive lapses I wasn’t happy about, but give credit to Ogemaw for working to create those chances. Their keeper played a good game, making some nice saves and picking off some of our crosses. Ashley Wakulat and Lindsey Morse had good games for our side."

Ogemaw coach Jeff Young: "We're moving in the right direction (SSC beat Ogemaw 8-0 in their first meeting). Once they got that fourth goal I we hung our heads for a little bit, but we recovered well and played hard to the end. That was real nice to see."
