Tawas coach Ken Cook: "Shelly has become a good keeper for us.  I wish we had started with her in there at the start of our season, I suspect our wins and losses might be a little different. 

"I thought Andrea Fisher and Kristin Glancy did an outstanding job at midfield tonight, they stepped up and won the ball repeatedly.  The defense all played well too. It was nice to see Chelsea Smith step up and play with passion tonight. You could tell she is a senior and doesn't want to have any regrets and is trying her hardest.  We are giving up offensive attack by keeping Erica Jackson back there as sweeper but she is doing a great job and usually saves us several times each game.

"Oscoda played hard tonight, for as much ball possession as we had they didn't give up."

Oscoda coach Gary Schneider: "It was by far the best game we've played this season.  The girls gave a maximum effort tonight.  We deserved to win but they got the break and finished it tonight."
