When Jarritt led off the 5th with the home run it opened the kids eyes up a little and we went out and did a better job of being patient at the plate and not chasing so much."

Ogemaw coach Jeremiah Peace: "Game 2 was just a great job by Alex.  He had to pitch out of trouble a few times but he really did a nice job mixing it up and hitting his spots.  He's thrown very well his last two outings.

"For us it's time to focus on what's ahead of us and try to get on a bit of a roll heading into districts."
