OSCODA - Jan. 20, 2009 - Oscoda swimmers evened up their season at 3-3 last night defeating Standish-Sterling by a score of 89-69.  Oscoda took first in nine of 12 events. 

Gaskell, Parent, Nolff and Ostrander took first in the Medley Relay while Vandruska, Haglund, Gonzalez and Nichols took 3rd.  Kyle Ostrander and Chris Vandruska combined for a 1-3 finish in the 200 free while Coty Nolff and Ken Parent went 1-2 in the IM. 

Bryce Haglund and Dave Nichols swam to a 1-5 finish in the 50 free and Ray Gaskell and Dave Nichols finished 1-3 in diving.  Coty Nolff took 1st in fly while Ray Gaskell and Dave Nichols finished 1-5 in the 100 free.  Kyle Ostrander and Bryce Haglund dominated the 500 finishing 1-2 and Vandruska, Nolff, Parent and Gonzalez took 2nd in the 200 free relay. 

Chris Vandruska and David Gonzalez finished 3-4 in the back while Ken Parent took 2nd in the Breast.  Haglund, Gonzalez, Ostrander and Gaskell finished the night out with a win in the 400 free relay.
