OSCODA - Jan. 13, 2009 - Oscoda's swimmers hosted Arthur Hill Tuesday and improved to 2-3 on the season after a lopsided 129-39 victory. 

The Owl attack began with a 1-2 finish in the Medley Relay  behind the efforts of Gaskell, Jackson, Parent and Ostrander and York, Haglund, Nolff and York.  Ken Parent and Sean Hall finished 1-2 in the 200 free and Coty Nolff, Thomas York and Buddy Jackson swept the IM with a 1-2-3 finish.  Kyle Ostrander and Mike York took 2-4 in the 50 and Ray Gaskell and Dave Nichols took 1-2 in diving.  Coty Nolff, Sean Hall and David Gonzalez finished 1-2-3 in the fly and Bryce Haglund and Dave Nichols finished 1-4 in the 100 free. 

Kyle Ostrander, Mike York and David Gonzalez finished 1-3-4 in the 500.  The 200 free relay of Haglund Nolff, York and Parent took first and Hall Nichols, Gonzalez and Vandruska finished 3rd.  Ray Gaskell, Thomas York and Chris Vandruska swept the back with a 1-2-3 finish and Bryce Haglund, Ken Parent and Buddy Jackson powered past their competition in the breast with a 1-2-3 finish in that event as well. 

York, Jackson, Ostrander and Gaskell won the 400 free relay and Hall, Gonzalez, Nichols and Vandruska took third.
