TAWAS AREA - Jan. 10, 2009 - After not playing for three weeks, the Tawas Area boys basketball team picked up its second victory in 24 hours Saturday with a 57-33 defeat of Oscoda.

The Braves led 22-4 after one quarter and were never seriously threatened.

Jesse Siwek led Tawas (3-1) with 13 points and Brandon Brodt had nine. D.J. Decker added 12 rebounds and four assists to go with six points.

Brandon McCausey had 11 points and Mike Wimmer seven for Oscoda (0-5).
