OSCODA - Jan. 30, 2009 - Tom Schonfeld scored a season-high 14 points Friday as Oscoda won for the third time in five games, holding off Gladwin Skeels Christian 47-40.

The Owls led 19-15 at the half behind a balanced scoring attack as Kyle McCausey had five poitns and Zach Shelton and Dylan Kachur four apiece in the first 16 minutes.

Schonfeld turned it on for 12 points in the second half and Justin Cain scored all of his eight points in the third quarter.

Oscoda (3-7) travels to AuGres-Sims on Monday.
