BEAVERTON - Apr, 8, 2009 - Ogemaw Heights' girls track and field team won an early-season dual meet at Beaverton on Wednesday 96.5 - 49.5, winning nine of the 14 events that were contested. The 3200 run and 4x800 relay were not contested due to the combination of cold weather and early-season conditioning.
The Falcons also were not at full strength due to Spring Break.
"(We) had some nice events," said Ogemaw coach Rick Frank. "But (we're) very young, inexperienced and lack depth."
The Falcons next run at home Wednesday, April 15 in a league dual with Pinconning.
