Outlook: "We will be looking to continue improving our offensive stats from last year," says Oscoda coach Mike Williams. "We have a pretty good group of hitters on the team that have put in a good amount of time in the off season and I think it will pay off. Our hitting last year was the area we improved the most, and we intend on doing that again.

"I think this team is really going to grow in the next month or so, and I am very excited to see what things we will accomplish as the season comes to an end. The girls are willing to put in the work needed to achieve success and they are very positive with the direction we are heading.

"Those two things might just be the key to get us back to the district championship, which is our first goal of this 2009 season."
