CEDAR SPRINGS - June 3, 2009 - John Glenn's girls soccer team won its first-ever girls soccer regional semifinal Wednesday, using a Kaitlyn Tobin goal four minutes into the game to defeat Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern 1-0.

Sarah Kemmer picked up an assist on the score.

The Bobcats (22-3-1) move on to Friday's regional title game against East Grand Rapids, which defeated Spring Lake 2-0 in the other semifinal.

Kelli Johnson had six saves as Glenn recorded its 21st shutout of the season.
