ALPENA - Aug. 27, 2009 - Ogemaw Heights' volleyball team continued its early-season lineup shuffling Thursday at a quad in Alpena, dropping two of three matches but winning at least one game against each of the Falcons' opponents.

Ogemaw (3-6-2) lost to Cheboygan 13-25, 14-25, 25-15; topped Rogers City 25-19, 25-14, 16-25; and fell to Alpena 8-25, 19-25 25-18.

"We had too many unforced errors," said Falcon coach Diane Gillette. "But by the end of the night (we) adjusted and corrected ourselves.

"We are still working with different combinations and hope to have a solid one by tourney time. The girls are progressing and working hard."

Leaders on the night were Shelby Marshall with 24 assists, Paige Bachelder with 14 kills and 45 digs; and Marshall, Andrea Gillette and Jorie Lucas with four aces apiece.
