POSEN - Oct. 6, 2009 - Posen maintained its North Star League lead with a three-game sweep of visiting Hale on Tuesday.

"It was definitely a weird night," said Hale coach Heather Chrivia. "We couldn't get on our game all night.

"We had seven carry calls and we hadn't had any of those all season. The girls played hard, but we just couldn't get everything to fall into place."

Halley Wolkens had 19 digs, Laura Sidebottom had seven kills and Stacey Eno had seven assists to lead the Eagles (5-8-1, 4-4 NSL).

Posen improved to 9-0 (8-0).
