MIO AuSABLE - Sep. 8, 2009 - Arenac Eastern's volleyball team got an education Tuesday night at Mio. Coach Hannah Neil is the lessons learned will help the Eagles improve as the season goes on.

"Mio was the first ... team to serve strong and hard at us," Neil said. "(We) were surprised at how hard the serves were coming across the net.

"We had to learn how to react to those serves as well as still having trouble getting our own serves across the net."

Erin Ecker had six spikes and 14 assists and Maddie Forshee had four blocks to lead AE.
