WHITTEMORE-PRESCOTT - Feb. 6, 2008 - Ogemaw Heights and Standish-Sterling braved the snow Wednesday evening to finish off the NEMC dual meet season at Whittemore-Prescott.

The earned their fourth league dual win of the season by defeating W-P 72-6, while losing a non-conference matchup to Rogers City 42-24. Standish-Sterling also topped W-P 42-24.

Winners for Ogemaw against W-P in matches actually wrestled (W-P gave up nine voids) were Andrew Funsch (130 pounds) in a 7-0 decision over Chance Rattie; Allen Good (171, pin), Anthony Carollo (189) with a 1-0 decision over Josh Blakely; and Josh Burton (215, pin).

W-P's Spencer Dietzel (285) scored the Cards' six points with a pin.

Funsch and Alex Kimball (160) had pins against Rogers City, while Luke Harris (145) won a 19-8 major decision.

Ogemaw finished 4-1 in league duals, while SSC was 2-3 and W-P 0-5.
