STANDISH-STERLING - Jan. 31, 2008 - Standish-Sterling's 22-1 second quarter proved to be more than enough Thursday as the Panthers rolled past Oscoda 62-24.

With a 37-9 halftime lead, all the Panthers saw plenty of playing time in the second half.

"This was a great game for us in regard to not playing for a week," said SSC coach Kevin King. "Everyone could get a lot of playing time. For about half the game we had the opportunity to play three freshmen, one sophomore and a junior.

"The entire team played great and everyone got into the scoring column."

The Panthers (10-6, 6-2 NEMC) were led by Alli Collier with 13 points, four rebounds and four steals; Alyssa White with 10 points and four steals; and Kayla Hilyard with eight points, 13 rebounds and four steals.

Krystin Inman led the Owls (2-14, 0-9) with 10 points.
