JOHN GLENN - Apr. 30, 2008 - John Glenn won 12 of 17 events Wednesday, but Whittemore-Prescott's girls track team scored a season high in an 88-42 loss to the Bobcats on Wednesday.

The Cardinals got event wins from Nina Menke in the 100 (16.70), the 4x200 relay team of Jessica Hamacher, Jessica Dietzel, Epifania Gonzalez and Snowy DeCaen (2:04.53); Hamacher, Menke, DeCaen and Rochelle Cotoio in the 4x100 (1:00.65); Janette Gonzalez in the 300 hurdles (1:05.63) and DeCaen in the 200 (30.31).

Hamacher also took second in the long jump (12-9.5); Staci Ostrander in the 400 (1:09.82) and 800 (2:51.99); and Epifania Gonzalez in the 300 hurdles (1:05.78).

Glenn's winners included Jill Bauer, Stephanie Hurley, Melissa Skrocki and Samantha Sweet in the 4x800 relay (11:40.97); Lauren Bluhm in the discus (77-9); Chelsea Rowley in the high jump (4-2) and 3200 (14:26.00); Bri Sahr in the long jump (15-1.25); Tori Napora in the pole vault (6-6); Lauren Bluhm in the shot put (32-3); Katie Kipfmiller in the 100 hurdles (24.18); Sweet in the 1600 (6:21.41); Hurley in the 400 (1:02.71); Bauer in the 800 (2:30.58); and Bauer, Hurley, Napora and Sahr in the 4x400 (4:43.00).
