GRAYLING - Apr. 23, 2008 - Playing their third doubleheader in as many days, the Ogemaw Heights softball team cruised to a sweep of Grayling on Wednesday, 16-1 and 14-2.

The Falcons scored 11 runs in the second inning of the opener in support of pitcher Kate Dombrowski, who threw a three-hitter and struck out seven in the win.

Colleen Wren and Jenna Zettel each had three hits to lead the Falcon offense. Wren scored three times and drove in three runs, while Zettel had two triples and four RBIs.

Wren and Dombrowski pitched the nightcap as Wren picked up the victory, throwing the first three innings as Ogemaw built a 7-2 lead.

Wren had two hits, Jacie Lucas had two hits, including a double, and Angela Carollo scored four runs to lead the Falcons (9-6).
