May 13, 2008 - Oscoda's Chuck Dumaresq and Mike Lamrock each pitched five-inning no-hitters Tuesday as the Owls defeated Hale 17-0 and 15-2 in a non-conference doubleheader.
Dumaresq allowed three walks and struck out 12 while frustrating the Eagles' batters.
A six-run first inning gave the Owls plenty of breathing room. Parker Thompson had three hits, Mike Wimmer had two hits and Mike Lamrock and Tyler Little each had two hits.
Zach Kusterer took the loss for Hale.
Lamrock held Hale without a hit, but walked seven batters, including three in one inning that led to Hale's two runs. He struck out five batters.
Little and Brett Leech each had two hits, while Thomas York had a hit and Nick Smith hit a solo home run.
Oscoda improved to 14-18 for the season while Hale fell to 8-12.
