JOHN GLENN - May 12, 2008 - John Glenn wrapped up its NEMC baseball season at 8-4, tied for third with Standish-Sterling, as the Bobcats shut out Oscoda twice on Monday, 11-0 and 10-0.
Jordan Snider tossed a four-hitter in the opener, striking out seven. The Owls got two hits from Brett Leech and one each from Mike Lamrock and Tyler Little.
Parker Thompson pitched a complete game in the loss, allowing 10 earned runs on 13 hits and striking out two.
In the second game, Jordan Schumann gave up just three hits and struck out 12 Owls. Nick Withrow took the loss for the Owls, pitching the first three innings, but had a double at the plate. Bryce Haglund also had a double.
The Owls wrapped up NEMC play with a 2-10 mark.
