ARENAC EASTERN - Sep. 9, 2008 - Mio AuSable earned its first North Star League win of the season Tuesday at Arenac Eastern with a 25-22, 25-22, 25-20 victory over the Eagles.

AE, with a very inexperienced varsity squad,  had coach Hannah Neil very pleased with their play in their first contest since Aug. 27.

"Mio had to earn every point they received tonight," she said. "The girls showed outstanding teamwork and high spirits."

The Eagles (0-2, 0-1 NSL) host Posen on Thursday, Sept. 11. Mio (1-0 NSL) plays at rival Fairview on Thursday.
