OGEMAW HEIGHTS - Nov. 5, 2008 - Ogemaw Heights defended its home court Wednesday, advancing to Thursday's Class B district championship by defeating Tawas Area 25-20, 25-11, 25-12.

After winning the first game, the Falcons took care of business in a hurry in the second two games to end the Braves' season and earn a district title matchup with Gladwin.

Emily Sheltrown had five kills, 11 digs and two aces, Lauren Gillette added four kills 21 assists and two aces, Angela Carollo had 10 kills and Jorie Lucas had 22 digs and three kills as the Falcons improved to 28-8-4.
