OGEMAW HEIGHTS - Sep. 30, 2008 - Ogemaw Heights won its share of events in Tuesday's home meet, but Oscoda had far more depth and claimed a 107-77 victory over the Falcons.

Even in the events Ogemaw won, the Owls built up points by taking two of the top three spots in 10 of 12 events.

Winners for Oscoda were Alyssa Peters in the 50-free (28.48) and 100-butterfly (1:06.09); Brittany Lynch in the 100-free (1:07.49); Christina Delcourt in the 500-free (6:48.00); Elisabeth Billiel, Anna Kushmaul, Peters and Mari Businski in the 200-free relay (1:55.41) Businski in the 100-breast (1:18.04); Megan Crowder in the 100-back (1:12.85); and Peters, Crowder, Brynne Raymond and Kushmaul in the 400-free relay (4:29.52).

Winning for the Falcons were the 200-medley relay team of Bailey Gilmore, Shaina Krieger, Lisa Alley and Mary Krieger (2:21.58); Erna Spannagel in the 200-free (2:17.19); Shaina Krieger in the 200-IM (2:42.04); and Mary Krieger in diving (170.75 points).

The Owls' second place finishers were Crowder, Barbie Ridpath, Brittany Lynch and Kushmaul in the 200-medley relay; Businski in the 200-free; Crowder in the 200-IM; and Kim Kaiser in diving.

Falcon runners-up were Mary Krieger in the 50-free; Spannagel in the 100-fly; Jaci Clark in the 100-free; Morgan Dantzer in the 500-free; Stephanie Brindley, Lisa Alley, Trista Garland and Clark in the 200-free relay; Gilmore in the 100-back; and Shaina Krieger in the 100-breast.
