OSCODA - Sep. 25, 2008 - Oscoda's swim team defeated Gaylord Thursday by a score of 107-78.

Scoring points for the Owl effort was Delcourt, Caslow, Raymond, and Boedecker in the Medley relay taking 2nd.  Brynne Raymond, Brittany Lynch and Katie Killingbeck finished 1-4-5 in the 200 free, Alyssa Peters, Mari Businski, and Taylor Caslow took 1-3-5 in the IM, Elisabeth Billiel and Anna Kushmaul finished 1-4 in the 50.  Kim Kaiser, Toni Boedecker and Kira Tait dove to a 1-3-4 finish.  Alyssa Peters, Elisabeth Billiel and Brittany Lynch finished 1-3-4 in the fly while  Christina Delcourt and Anna Kushmaul took 2nd and 3rd in the 100 free. 

Megan Crowder and Brynne Raymond finished 2-3 in the 500.  Peters, Billiel, Raymond and Businski and the team of Boedecker, Kaiser, Killingbeck and Kaiser finished 1-3 in the 200 free relay.  Megan Crowder, Jessica Ball and Kim Kaiser finished 1-4-5 in the back.  Mari Businski, Brittany Kaiser and Taylor Caslow finished 1-3-4 in the breast. 

The girls capped off their win with a 1-3 finish in the 400 free relay behind the efforts of Peters, Lynch, Crowder and Businski, and Killingbeck, Delcourt, Kushmaul and Billiel. 

"The girls swam really hard tonight" said Oscoda coach Jeff Rush.  "We had many personal bests from our swimmers.  Elisabeth Billiel dropped almost 4 seconds in her fly, Mari Businski posted personal bests in both the IM, and Breast, Megan Crowder posted lifetime bests in both the 500 and back and Toni Boedecker dove to a personal best to name a few.  We are getting better each meet."
