SAGINAW ARTHUR HILL - Sep. 16, 2008 - The Oscoda girls swim team defeated Arthur Hill by a score of 126-49 Tuesday night.  The visiting Owls ran their record to 3-2 on the season. 

"We have been able to handle Arthur Hill pretty well the past few seasons so we were able to mix and match some of our girls tonight," said Oscoda coach Jeff Rush. "I was able to put some kids in some different events and see what they could handle.  Given those opportunities, the girls stepped up and did what they needed to do."

Oscoda scored early and often with medley relays taking 1st and 3rd behind the effort of Billiel, Peters, Businski and Boedecker, and Killingbeck, Ball, Caslow and Kushmaul.  Elisabeth Billiel, Jessica Ball, and Stephanie Mandaville took 2-3-5 in the 200 and Brynne Raymond took 1st in the IM.  Mari Businski, Kira Tait, and Stephanie Mandaville finishe 1-3-5 in the 50 free. 

Toni Boedecker, Kira Tait, and Megan Lamrock finished 1-3-4 in diving.  Alyssa Peters, Elisabeth Billiel, and Toni Boedecker finished 1-2-4 in the fly while Megan Crowder, Katie Killingbeck, and Kim Kaiser finished 1-2-5 in the 100 free.  Anna Kushmaul, Jessica Ball and Megan Lamrock finished 2-3-5 in the 500 free. 

Oscoda finished 1st and 2nd in the 200 free relay powered by Jessica Ball, Alyssa Peters, Barbie Ridpath, and Katie Killingbeck, and Mandaville, Billiel, Boedecker and Caslow.  Oscoda swept the back and breast events with Megan Crowder, Mari Businski, and Brynne Raymond taking 1-2-3 in back and Anna Kushmaul, Taylor Caslow and Barbie Ridpath in the breast.  The Owl attack of Businski, Crowder, Tait and Raymond, and Peters, Kushmaul, Lamrock and Killingbeck took 1-2 in the 400 free relay.
