ALPENA - Sep. 11, 2008 - Oscoda's swimmers evened their record to 2-2 on the season defeating Alpena by a score of 90-80 Thursday evening. 

Scoring in the Owl effort were the Medley relays of Peters, Businski, Raymond and Migan taking first and Crowder, K. Kaiser, Lynch and Kushmaul taking 3rd.  In the 200 free, Megan Crowder, Jessica Migan and Jessica Ball combined for a 1-2-4 finish, while in the IM, Alyssa Peters, Christina Delcourt and Elisabeth Billiel went 1-4-5.  Kim Kaiser and Megan Lamrock took 4th and 5th in the 50 free, while Brittany Lynch, Brynne Raymond, and Toni Boedecker placed 1-4-5 in the fly.  Mari Businski and Anna Kushmaul finished 1-3 and Kristen Mioduch posted a season best in the 100 free. 

Megan Crowder, Elisabeth Billiel, and Toni Boedecker placed 1-3-5 in the 500.  In the 200 free relay, Ball, Kushmaul, Delcourt, and Businski took 2nd while B. Kaiser, Peters, Billiel, and Boedecker placed 3rd.  In the 100 back Christina Delcourt and Kim Kaiser swam to a 3-5 finish with Stephanie Mandaville tallying a personal best as well.  Mari Businski and Brittany Kaiser took 1-4 in the 100 breast while Raymond, Billiel, Rausch, and Peters took 1st in the 400 free and Mioduch, Lamrock, Mandaville and Ball took 3rd. 

The Owls travel to Arthur Hill Tuesday.
