Oscoda 95, at Essexville Garber 90

ESSEXVILLE GARBER - Sep. 4, 2008 - The Oscoda girls swim team edged out Essexville-Garber Thursday night by a score of 95-90. 

The Owl attack was led by sophomore Megan Crowder who scored three firsts and one second and earning 15 team points.  Crowder finished first in the 500 and the 100 back and combined with teammates Brittany Kaiser, Brittany Lynch and Anna Kushmaul to win the Medley relay. Christina Delcourt, Taylor Caslow, Elisabeth Billiel and Jessica Migan took 3rd in the relay. 

Brynne Raymond and Katie Killingbeck combined for a 3-5 finish in the 200 free while Brittany Lynch had a thrilling 2nd place finish in the 200 IM followed by Anna Kushmaul and Brittany Kaiser in 4th and 5th.

Alyssa Peters and Elisabeth Billiel finished 2-4 in the 50 free while Kim Kaiser, Ashley Rausch, and Toni Boedecker combined for a 1-2-4 finish in diving.  Alyssa Peters, Brittany Lynch, and Brynne Raymond finished 2-3-4 in the 100 fly while Mari Businski, Jessica Migan, and Katie Killingbeck finished 1-3-5 in the 100 free. 

Christina Delcourt, and Jessica Ball took 3rd and 5th in the 500.  The Owl 200 free relay attack placed 2nd and 3rd behind the efforts of Billiel, Peters, Migan and Businski and the team of Raymond, Boedecker, Killingbeck, and Delcourt.  Anna Kushmaul took 4th in the back while Mari Businski and Brittany Kaiser swam to a 2-3 finish in the Breast.  Peters, Crowder, Lynch, and Businski finished 2nd in the 400 free relay while Migan, Kushmaul, Raymond, and Billiel took 3rd.
