OGEMAW HEIGHTS -
Oct. 2, 2008 - Ogemaw Heights broke open a close game in the second half on Thursday, defeating Grayling 5-2 after leading 2-1 at the half.
"We played a little bit flat," said Ogemaw coach Jeff Young. "I felt like we could have played better, but we did get the win."
Robbie Kish and Derek Hughey each scored in the first half to give the Falcons' their one-goal lead.
Kish and Hughey each scored again in the second half as well, with Daichi Itabachi adding a goal in the final minute of play.
Kish, Itabachi and Hughey had assists for the Falcons (9-8-1), while Sean McClintic had four saves.
