HOUGHTON LAKE - Aug. 20, 2008 - It doesn't much matter in soccer if you control the game without putting the ball in the net. That was the sticking point for Ogemaw Heights on Tuesday as the Falcons settled for a 1-1 tie at Houghton Lake despite holding a 30-9 shooting advantage over the Bobcats.

"We controlled the ball and the tempo," said Ogemaw coach Jeff Young. "We played well everywhere but getting the ball in the net."

Robbie Kish scored the Falcons' goal.

Sean McClintic had one save in goal, while Ben Elliott had four in the second half as he warmed up for a Friday start against Gaylord. Matt Hoebeke and Ronnie Trower each had non-keeper saves as the Falcons moved to 0-1-1.
