BIG RAPIDS - Dec. 2, 2006 - Despite a snowstorm that disrupted weigh-ins and resulted in Ogemaw Heights not taking their weigh-ins until Saturday morning, the Falcons won four of five matches at the Big Rapids Invitational on Saturday.

"I didn't feel that helped our performance," said Ogemaw coach Darryl Keeton.

The Falcons defeated Big Rapids 48-27, Cedar Springs 53-22, Howard City Tri-County 50-18 and Sparta 36-30. Petoskey, a likely team district tournament opponent, topped the Falcons 46-16.

Andrew Funsch (125) and Scott Kimball (189) were unbeaten in five matches, while Michael Lentz (130) and Carl Worthy (215) each went 4-1.

Ogemaw (5-2) hosts the Falcon Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 9.
