ROSCOMMON – Nov. 30, 2006 – Ogemaw Heights opened the season at defending Division 3 runner-up Roscommon on Thursday, earning a split of two matches. The Falcons topped Kingsley, which was fresh off an upset of Rosco, 49-18, but turned around and lost to the Bucks 47-24.

“We looked good against Kingsley,” said Ogemaw coach Darryl Keeton. “But we were very flat against Roscommon.”

Winning twice were Andrew Funsch (125 pounds), Rob Goulette (140), Matt Franklin (171), Scott Kimball (189) and Carl Worthy (215).
