TRAVERSE CITY CENTRAL - Jan. 13, 2007 - The Ogemaw Heights wrestling team earned a second-place finish at the Traverse City Central Invitational on Saturday.

Bay City Central won the six-team meet with 314 team points, with the Falcons finishing just behind with 311, with the Falcons winning seven of the 14 individual weight classes.

First-place medals went to Andrew Funsch (125 pounds), Michael Lentz (130), Bruce Vermillion (135), Rob Goulette (140), Matt Franklin (160), Scott Kimball (189) and Carl Worthy (215).

Corey Lambert (171) and Zach Jameson (145) earned second-place medals, and Andy Grezeszak (152) took third.

The Falcons travel to a four-way meet at Gaylord on Thursday, Jan. 18.
