PINCONNING - Jan. 4, 2007 - Ogemaw Heights had its way in a double-dual wrestling meet at Pinconning on Thursday, taking down Shepherd and NEMC foe Pinny.

The Falcons defeated Shepherd 65-11, with six of Shepherd's points coming on a void.

Kyle Scott, Michael Lentz, Bruce Vermillion, Zach Jameson, Josh Taylor, Matt Franklin, Corey Lambert, Scott Kimball, Carl Worthy and Jess Greene all won on the mat, while Andrew Funsch and and Rob Goulette had wins by void.

Pinny fell to Shepherd 42-31, though the two squads each one four of the eight matches that were wrestled (six weight classes were voided, four by the Spartans).

Pinny winners were Charles Burch, Kyle Filcek, Coty Swinson and Jordan Burns.

Ogemaw closed out the night with a big win over the Spartans.

The Falcons improved to 9-3 overall, 1-0 in NEMC duals.
