MIO AuSABLE - Feb. 15, 2007 - AuGres-Sims avenged its home court defeat to Mio and set up Monday's clash for the North Star League championship by handing the Thunderbolts a 25-19, 20-25, 25-15, 26-24 defeat on Thursday, Feb. 15.

The Wolverines improved to 9-2 in league play, and host Hillman (10-3) with a chance to open up a two-game lead with games against Atlanta and Arenac Eastern (combined record of 3-16) still to play.

Jamie Taylor led the Wolverines (13-6 overall) with 44 assists, six aces and 15 digs. Sam Baron added 21 kills and seven digs; Chelsie Irwin had three aces and nine digs; Amanda Nixon added 12 kills and two blocks; Alicia Wright had 10 kills, seven digs and one block; Jessica Stevenson had seven kills and three digs; and Toria Pendred added 20 digs.
