POSEN - Jan. 18, 2007 - AuGres-Sims kept its North Star League win streak alive and handed Posen its first loss of the season Thursday as the Wolverines swept the Vikings 25-20, 25-21, 25-21.

The Wolverines took a little time to get going.

"I think we went in there intimidated by their record, and started off slow," said the Wolverines' Alicia Wright. "Once we realized we shouldn't have been, we stepped it up, played our game and won."

Jamie Taylor finished with 19 assists, 6 aces, 3 kills and 8 digs; Sam Baron had 13 kills and 8 digs; Chelsie Irwin had 3 aces and 8 digs; Toria Pendred had 12 digs; and Amanda Nixon had 3 blocks and 4 kills.

AGS improved to 8-4 (4-0 North Star League) while Posen dropped to 5-1 (4-1).
