AuGRES-SIMS - Jan. 11, 2007 - The AuGres-Sims volleyball team extended its North Star League win streak to 17 matches on Monday with a 25-17, 25-16, 25-15 victory over Atlanta.

"I felt like we didn't start out that great," said Toria Pendred. "But we stayed strong, got things together and played our game as a team."

Pendred finished with 4 aces and 5 digs for AGS (7-4, 3-0 NSL). Amanda Nixon had 12 kills and 2 blocks; Sam Baron had 7 kills; Jamie Taylor added 5 aces and 17 assists; Chelsie Irwin had 6 digs and Jessica Stevenson had 4 kills and 4 digs.

The Wolverines hit the road next week, traveling to Fairview on Monday and Hillman on Thursday, Jan. 18.
