JOHN GLENN - Mar. 3, 2007 - Oscoda, which suffered a number of tough losses in NEMC play this season, has to bounce back from another one with just one day of rest before Monday's district tournament opener at Standish-Sterling.
The Owls held John Glenn to three third-quarter points and entered the fourth period with a 33-26 lead, but were outscored 22-7 in the final eight minutes as the Bobcats closed out the regular season with a 48-40 victory. Glenn scored seven quick points in the final minute to pull away and catch the Owls in the NEMC standings, as both finished 3-9, in fifth place.
Kyle Weber led Glenn (3-17 overall) with 13 points. Jason Jimenez led the Owls (10-10) with 12 and Barak Henderson added 10.
