WHITTEMORE-PRESCOTT - May 9, 2007 - Whittemore-Prescott earned two points toward the May 23 NEMC finals meet with a victory at a home three-way with Pinconning and Oscoda. The Cards ran up 95.5 points, with Pinny earning 43 and Oscoda 32.5.

W-P finished 3-3 against NEMC squads, with Pinny 1-5 and Oscoda 0-6.

Winning events for W-P were Kane Dietzel in the discus (126-6.5) and shot put (46-3); Bill Raushi in the high jump (6-2), long jump (19-4.5) and 400 (53.87); Casey Popielarz in the pole vault (9-6); the 4x800 relay (9:23.09); Justin Dahn in the 1600 (5:12.42); Chance Rattie in the 110 hurdles (19.19); Hugh Jenkins in the 300 hurdles (46.36); Dakota Popielarz in the 800 (2:21.95); Scott Garnett in the 3200 (11:50.55) and the 4x400 relay (4:00.32).

Pinny's lone winner came in the 4x200 relay (1:49.98).

Oscoda's Trent Fouchey won the 100 (11.87) and 200 (23.40) while the Owls' 4x100 relay also was a winner (47.05).
