OGEMAW HEIGHTS - May 9, 2007 - Ogemaw Heights finished with an unbeaten NEMC dual meet mark with an 87-45 victory over Tawas Area on Wednesday.
The Falcons will carry six points with them into the May 23 league finals meet at Standish-Sterling, one more than Standish-Sterling. Tawas (3-2-1) has 3.5 points.
Winning events for Ogemaw were Kalena Franklin in the 100 (13.96), 200 (28.97) and 400 (1:07.74); Chelsea LeForce in the 800 (2:40.20); Holly Mester in the 1600 (5:41.40); Noelle Mester in the 3200 (13:13.10); Maggie Edward in the 100 hurdles (18.42) and 300 hurdles (56.26); Edward, Kristeen Soper, Selina Tabayoyong and Franklin in the 4x200 (1:57.82); Heather Villarreal, LeForce, Holly Mester and Noelle Mester in the 4x800 (12:44.70); Brittney Stein in the pole vault (8-0); Katlyn Anthony in the long jump (12-7); and Kelsi Rutherford in the shot put (32-2.5).
Tawas Area's winners were Julie Enzenberger, Samantha Duvall, Sarah Blust and Amanda Kaiser in the 4x100 (56.06); Blust in the high jump (4-4); and Quinn Knox in the discus (110-4).
The 4x400 relay wasn't run due to lightning.
