LINCOLN ALCONA - May 3, 2007 - Oscoda exploded for a season-high 17 runs in the opening game of Thursday's doubleheader at Alcona and ended up splitting two games with the Tigers, winning the opener 17-7 and falling 11-4 in the second game.

Don Crevier and Torib Uchel each had four hits while Dustin Crevier, Jason Jimenez and Mike Wimmer each had three as Oscoda scored early and often in the first game, including a nine-run second inning. Uchel picked up the win in relief of Dustin Crevier, allowing one unearned run on one hit and two walks while striking out four in 3-2/3 innings.

Don Crevier scored three runs and had five RBIs, while Uchel had five RBIs and scored twice. Dustin Crevier scored once and drove in three runs, while Jimenez had two runs and drove in two.

The Owls finished with 20 hits and walked seven times in the opener.

The Tigers came back and scored four runs in each of the first two innings of the second game, which was called after five innings due to darkness.

Don Crevier had two hits and Jimenez had a double and two RBIs for the Owls. Barak Henderson started and took the loss, with Mike Lamrock and Mike Wimmer pitching in relief.

The Owls finished the day with a 3-9 overall mark.
