ARENAC EASTERN - Oct. 18, 2007 - Hale earned a three-game sweep at Arenac Eastern on Thursday to stay within a game of Hillman atop the North Star League.

"The girls did a good job," said Hale coach Mandy Allen. "We are pushing and looking forward to our two games this week against Fairview on Tuesday and Hillman on Thursday.

The Eagles (18-10, 10-2 NSL) were led by Liz Lerczak with nine kills and six aces; Tarra Caverly with eight kills and 11 aces; Kassie Johnson with four kills and four aces; Terra Kelso with four kills and four aces; Rachel Maher with three aces and 20 assists; Stacey Eno with one kill and 1 dig; and Kelsey Reilly with three aces.
