ATLANTA - Sept. 13, 2007 - It didn't result in a victory for the AuGres-Sims volleyball team, but Thursday's effort at Atlanta was more of what AGS coach Jeri Christie had in mind for her Wolverines.

"It's the best we've played all season so far," Christie said of the Wolverines' 25-20, 25-21, 19-25 loss. "Serving is still hurting us. Like I said (pre-season), give us 'til mid-season."

Leading the Wolverines (1-4, 1-3 North Star League) were Ashley Lynch with five attacks, Sarah Brochtup with three blocks, Angelina Bellissimo with 10-of-10 serving and Lydia Kauffman with nine assists.
