HALE - Feb. 13, 2006 - Hale's volleyball team served 92 percent against Fairview on Monday, a key component of the Eagles' 25-17, 25-17, 25-8 sweep.

"The girls played very well as a team," said Hale coach Kristi Benedict. "They were talking to each other and it was probably the best I've seen them moving to get to the ball.

Three girls servied 100 percent ... It was great to see them play like that. All the girls did a good job."

Leading the Eagles were Shannon Self with five aces, 15 kills and two blocks; Amanda DeShano with 17 digs; Elizabeth Lerczak with five kills and six aces; Tarra Caverly with six aces and 11 assists; and Jessica Beasinger with 16 digs.

Hale improved to 12-9 (8-3 NSL).
