ARENAC EASTERN - Feb. 9, 2006 - The Hale volleyball team, still adjusting to a reshuffled lineup, took three of four games from Arenac Eastern to win a North Star League match on Thursday.

Hale took a 25-18, 19-25, 25-21, 25-22 victory despite struggling with the loss of front-line players Sabrina Provoast and Andrea Herzog.

"Things are much different," said Hale coach Kristi Benedict. "We'll work on making the adjustments and work from there."

Leading Hale were Chelsea Sidebottom with nine aces, Amanda DeShano with 11-of-11 serving, Tarra Caverly with 13 assists, Shannon Self with 10 kills, Elizabeth Lerczak and Jessica Beasinger with 20 digs apiece and Lerczak with two blocks.

Hale improved to 11-9 (7-3 North Star League) while AE dropped to 0-16 (0-9).
