LINCOLN-ALCONA - Dec. 12, 2005 - AuGres-Sims swept Lincoln-Alcona in its volleyball opener on Monday, Dec. 12, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

"We played really well," said AGS coach Jeri Christie. "Our passing and ball control were superb. We need to focus on just working hard and getting better every day. We'll take it one day at a time."

Leading the Wolverines (1-0) were Jamie Taylor with 12 assists, 13-of-14 serving and eight aces; Charisse Morris with 15-of-15 serving and two aces; Sam baron with five kills and five aces; Alicia Wright with three kills, one block and five aces; and Angela Porn with two digs and two kills.

The AGS JV squad also won its match in a three-game sweep.
